TATTOOING AND BODY PIERCING
The use of improperly sanitized needles and instruments for invasive procedures on the human body and/or procedures being completed by inadequately trained individuals can contribute to the spread of communicable diseases and/or cause permanent injury.

The goal of this program is to assure that businesses performing tattooing or body piercing procedures do so in a manner that meets safety and sanitation standards and with staff adequately trained to perform the procedures through inspection of businesses and education of operators.
