the shedding of an infectious agent which can be transmitted to humans
causing the pneumonia-like disease, Psittacosis. This program ensures
birds sold in pet stores are disease free and the facilities are maintained
in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner through inspections of facilities
and education of operators. |
