NUISANCE COMPLAINTS

Environmental Health Code
Chapter 1220

Inadequate sanitation, open dumping, rodent infestations, improperly maintained septic systems and other public health nuisances adversely influence individuals' mental and physical well-being. This program informs citizens about the conditions causing public health nuisances and encourages citizens to report unresolved public health nuisances.

To report a nuisance complaint to the Health District, you may call (330) 926-5600 between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.  You may also email your complaint to one of the email addresses listed below:

 

WATER QUALITY

Private water systems such as wells, springs, cisterns and hauled water storage tanks

Sewage treatment systems, septic tanks, wastewater plants, laundry water discharges

Storm water or stream water quality
