MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Summit County Health District is to protect and promote the health of the
entire community through programs and activities designed to address the safety, health
and well-being of the people who live in Summit County.  Through its programs and activities,
the Health District seeks to create a healthful environment and ensure the accessibility
of health services to all.

The Board of Health meets the second Thursday of every month at 5:00 pm in the main building of the Summit County Health District, located at 1100 Graham Road Circle, Stow, Ohio 44224.

Board of Health Meeting Minutes

The Summit County Health District receives funds from local tax support, contracts for school health services and fees for environmental health licenses and/or permits.  There is a charge for water samples collected by the Health District and submitted to a certified water laboratory for analysis.  Charges for some clinic services and tests are made on a sliding scale fee schedule.

The Summit County Health District is also funded in part with federal funds through the Ohio Department of Health and is in compliance with EEO Title VI, which provides that no person shall be refused services on the grounds of race, color, age, sex, or national origin.  The Health District is in compliance with regulations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
